Football Job :Lippi To Take Over At Milan?

The Rossoneri’s painful exit from the Champions League last night to Arsenal has led to talk of an end of season revolution at the club. This could start with Coach Carlo Ancelotti, who after seven wonderful years at San Siro, may have finally reached the end of his term in office. The Corriere says that Lippi is being lined up as a replacement for Ancelotti, as Milan aim to build a new winning cycle. Lippi has been out of the game since stepping down as coach of the Italy national team following their World Cup success in Germany in 2006. Despite numerous offers to return to the bench, the Viareggio-born tactician has so far rejected all overtures. However he has stated on numerous occasions that he will be returning to coaching in time for the start of next season. Ancelotti meanwhile could find himself taking over at Barcelona, as current boss Frank Rijkaard is expected to move on to pastures new at the end of the campaign.
